Evaluator

Hello, I am Christina Bertok, M.A., Certified School Psychologist (She/Her/Hers).  I am excited to join the ElevateMind team as a School Psychologist and look forward to working with students, families, and colleagues. I specialize in psycho-educational evaluations for children/adolescents ages 5 to 22.  My focus is in identifying learning disabilities and mental giftedness. Over the past 32 years, I have had the opportunity to serve in public school districts, LIU#12, York County prison system and Crisis Intervention services. These experiences have provided me with a broad perspective and reinforced my commitment to meeting the diverse needs of every learner.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments, with extensive experience in special education evaluations, gifted evaluations, cognitive and academic testing, behavioral assessments, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. I enjoy using assessment data to help identify students' strengths and needs, guide educational planning, and develop meaningful interventions that support student success. I believe every evaluation is an opportunity to better understand a child and ensure they receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to create positive, inclusive learning environments where students feel supported and empowered to reach their potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling. I look forward to getting to know the students and families in my new position and helping to make an impact for a successful school experience.
